In the MICE portal, you can request rooms or apartments for an extended period. For example, if you are still looking for housing after a job change or working on a project at another location for an extended time.
Note: When creating your request, you can choose whether to book the apartment only from Monday to Friday or to include the weekends as well.

1. Considerations you should make before submitting a request
When searching for long-term accommodation, there are several points you should decide on in advance:
- Would you prefer to arrange breakfast on your own, or should breakfast be included in the offer?
- Will you be going home on weekends, or do you want to keep the room or apartment over the weekend as well?
- How often should your room/apartment be cleaned?
- What amenities do you need? If you plan to cater for yourself, an apartment with a kitchenette might be ideal.
Note: If you book your room only from Monday to Friday, please be aware that you must vacate the room, including your luggage, by Friday. This allows the provider to offer the room to other guests over the weekend.

In the MICE portal, various selection criteria are already available to you:
Room type:
- Single room
- Double room
- 1-room apartment with kitchenette
- 2-room apartment with kitchenette
Meals:
- Breakfast
- Half board
- Full board
- Daily bread roll service
Other services:
- e.g., parking space

There is a request template for long-term accommodation in the MICE portal!
Note: If you cannot find the long-term accommodation template in your planning assistant, please contact your purchasing/travel management department.
The template can be integrated at any time with the approval of your purchasing department through the MICE portal.
Step 1: Select the long-term accommodation template and enter your key details.
Step 2: Specify the project name, location, number of participants, duration of the offer's validity, and company name.
Step 3: Choose the duration for which you need the apartment, e.g., September 1-30.
Step 4: Now decide how often you would like your apartment to be cleaned, whether you want breakfast daily, and if you only need the apartment on weekdays.
Step 5: Select one or more service providers.
Step 6: Provide the billing address and choose what will be paid by the organizer and what will be covered by the participants themselves.
