If necessary, an event can be copied. With this procedure, the event can take place again with all its properties or the event date can simply be moved.
1. Postpone event
2. Send inquiry
The following scenarios often arise when planning and organising events. The event is to be held again in the same way or the event has to be postponed for various reasons. This can be implemented in the MICE Portal in just a few steps.
1. Postpone event
- Open your project overview and search for the project to be copied.
- Copy the project by clicking on the ‘icon with the two leaves’ on the right. You can also duplicate your request directly in a project by clicking on the ‘Copy project’ button.
- A pop-up will open. Here you can adjust the desired key data and, depending on your requirements, also copy the service providers from the previous project. The latter option must be selected if you want to postpone the event.
Our tip: If you only want to postpone the event by 1-2 days, we recommend another function, which you can read about in the article Change event date 📄
Please note: Also change the option period📄 and decide whether the service providers requested in the original project should also be copied. We recommend an option period of 14 days from the creation of the project.
Copy project - Project overview
Please note: In the original project, conference packages may have been requested, but the switch to MICE packages has now been made.
Select the MICE package you require for your event from the drop-down menu.
- Then click on ‘Copy’. You will automatically be taken to the newly copied project and can continue editing.
Please note: Before sending the request, check the desired services and details again - especially if you want to change the event period.
The service providers you have added must then be requested again, as this is a new project.
2. Send inquiry
- In the last step, you activate your inquiry by clicking on the ‘Send inquiry’ button.
