Leave remarks in the comment field of an offer

When submitting an offer, it is possible to leave comments or additions to services in the comments field.

As a service provider, you are asked to submit an offer for a request. According to the usual procedure, you can now comply with this request. If you have any comments or additions to the services, you can enter them in the "Comments" field when submitting the offer. These will be communicated to the customer without the need to use a separate communication channel.

  • If a booking is made, all comments and supplementary conditions entered in the comment field ("Comments" field) become part of the reservation contract and are legally binding for both parties.
  • In the comment field may be deposited, for example, supplementary information on the services offered, cancellation conditions deviating from the terms and conditions of the customer and conditions for deposit payments (advance payments).

Please note: Cancellation conditions and conditions for deposit payments that deviate from the customer's GTC must necessarily be deposited in the comment field, including the scale. The note "The terms and conditions of the hotel apply" is not sufficient!

Make sure that the date of the free cancellation period matches the cancellation conditions you entered in the comment field or your cancellation scale!

  • Comments in the comment field must not regulate issues that concern the MICE portal and not the customer. As a service provider, you enter into a contract with the customer and not with us.
  • Background: As a service provider, you enter into a reservation contract 📄 with your customer and not with MICE Portal. MICE Portal is not a contractual partner at this point.

Basically applies: Two contracting parties may not regulate matters to the disadvantage of a third party who is not a contracting party. Therefore, comments in the comment field that affect third parties and or the MICE portal are void according to German contract law.
This applies in particular to comments on commission payments and possible commission restrictions placed in the comment field.
